so yesterday i went to my family friend's house in Dee Why for dinner. Got there at like 8 and instead of having fun (not really these gatherings are pretty bland) i had to finish my Troung hw which was due today, so i sat down there like a good girl and did my hw instead of eating, about 2hrs in, this white guy called Daniel arrives and me and my bro were like haha its a white guy (not being racist, its jst i never see anyone at Viet gatherings except for Viets and the occasional chink) so we went over and started talking to him because he seemed interesting cos he was so out of place. So we're like talking to him and i ask him how he knows these ppl and he's like oh cos my mum knows them and i'm like oh who's ur mum and he points to this asian lady sitting somewhere, and i was like pwhooa are you for serious? But you look full white, like fully fully white? and he laughed at me and then he asked us what our names were and we told him it was anh and spent about 2 or 3 minutes explaining our name to him, then my aunt comes over and tells us to stop talking to him and let him eat first and my bro pats him on the shoulder and is ttyl Paul and i'm like er his name's Daniel --" and he's like oh whoops and yea he leaves and i get back to hwing. Later into the night, he came back but only cos he was about to leave and we were sitting near the door and he comes over and says bye. D: K, gtg cya Anhs A: Oh, bye DAVID -looks back at brother and smirks- D: Uh, actually it's Daniel A: .___. A: hah!rightt. A:....><" then my brother starts laughing at me.Then we talked to him a bit more before he left cos he came over and asked me what i was doing and i was like non- right angled trig, and he's like ohhh i remember doing that.. then i asked him if he had a job and he said he was leaving it to pursue a career in music and i was like oh wow A: what's your band name? D: Daniel Hoppkins and the Generous Few Anhboy: Hah, thats a bit random A: mm not really (thinking about the 'generous few' bit) Anhboy: Why's it called Daniel Hoppkins? A: It's his name. Dumbass. Anhboy: OHHH >< right. Then as he was about to leave i called him David again DD: But seriously, David Hoppkins is such a generic name its sorta easy to forget, i mean i rkn if i didn't blog about this i'll have forgotten about him in the next week.Oh another thing, i just realised the other day when i was mapling( i've quit since then D:) that my bro lectures me exactly like my Troung teacher does its uncanny, except his is about gaming rather than HSC.
